This 4-week (30 min/week) program is FREE and includes the gear.  Following the program, participants may keep the gear if they enroll into the following Learn To Play Hockey program.

Participant will need to come to an equipment fitting prior to the program to receive the gear.

Twice a week, for 10 weeks, your child will have the opportunity to play cross ice games led by Rangers staff. It is a fun way to meet new teammates and play some hockey!

Skylands Youth Hockey League is a spirited, energetic, and fun youth hockey program for any age player.

Our mission is to offer the very best hockey experience to every player in our program. To instill confidence through balanced competition, skill through consistent development, teamwork through stated values, and passion for the game through dedicated supervision. We aim to provide an opportunity to play competitive hockey games and to work on improving skills while experiencing a fun and exciting atmosphere.

Special hockey programs have been established over 30 cities in the United States. The goal of special hockey is to give people with physical and developmental disabilities the chance to play the sport of ice hockey in an environment which is adapted to the level of ability. The athletes play upright and in most cases offsides, icing, penalties etc. are not part of gameplay.

Special Hockey emphasizes players to have fun through teamwork, social interaction, and improving the quality of life through on and off ice activities.

Special hockey serves a wide range of disabilities and there is an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the sport.

Adult Hockey for beginners! Learn all the basics from skating to shooting. This is your chance to Get in the Game!

·       Learn to Play - Beginner Hockey

·       Divided into 2 categories: Rookie 1 & Rookie 2

·       Players should have attended at least one session of Learn to Skate

·       First time players will receive equipment - please make a note if you need equipment

Adult open hockey is the traditional full ice game set up, some call it “drop in” hockey. Max 30 skaters / 4 goalies.

All players must be over 18 years of age, and not a student in high school.

The Skylands Savages Spring program is for hockey players looking to practice and compete in one or two tournaments this off-season.

The program is designed to improve individual skill development and teach players various hockey concepts that will translate into becoming a better player.

The Skylands Savages program is led by Skylands Ice Word Hockey Directors Charlie Spetz and Adam Mitchell, and will include a number of other experienced coaches that are focused on player development.

$23 per player | Full Face Protection required for under 18.

Stick & Puck is one of most popular hockey events during the week. It creates an atmosphere akin to the “frozen pond” – come on out and enjoy the fun. Practice your stick-handling, skating and shot.  Absolutely NO games or mini games are allowed at any time on a stick & puck session.

HELMET REQUIRED FOR ALL, FULL CAGE required for Under 18, hockey gloves, ice hockey stick and skates is all that is needed. Max 35 skaters. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PUCK…we do not supply pucks for these sessions.
