Freestyle
Freestyle sessions are for test and competitive skaters, and students in private lessons.
Session Fees:
$13.00/60 minute session
Discount Passes:
10 Session Freestyle Discount Pass $110.00 ($11.00 per session
25 Session Freestyle Discount Pass $250.00 ($10.00 per session)
Private Lessons
Skylands Skating Acedemy in-house skating professionals are available for private lessons. To book private lessons, review our coach bios and then contact the Skating Director, Kim Murphy at 973.697.1600 x.118.
Coaching fees range from $30-45 per ½ hour lesson and are paid directly to the coach. For new lessons, please leave 48-72 hours for arrangements to be made. In addition to the coaching fees, skaters must pay an ice utilization fee on either a freestyle session ($13, $15 or discount punch card) or public session fee.
Skaters must sign-in at front desk and ice fees must be paid before the session on which the lesson is occurring. Skaters will be given a purple colored wristband as proof of payment which coaches will ensure skaters are wearing.
Sychronized Skating
The Skylands Skating Academy participates in the sport of Synchronized Skating. Skylands is pleased to present our brand new Synchro team, the New Jersey Black Diamonds. We are offering a brand new intro to synchro program for those who are interested contact the Skating Director directly at SkatingDirector@SkylandsIceWorldNJ.com
