Kings Coaching Staff for 2010-11
Silio Garcia - Kings ACE Coordinator and Assistant Hockey Director Silio's career has spanned 12+ years. He has coached at all youth levels and JR's including taking teams to top tournaments such as the Jr Chowder Cup, Mission Cup, Ronald McDonald tournament in Ontario and the International Silver Stick Finals. Coach Garcia was GM and Asst. Coach of the NJ Ice Hoppers of the America East League as well as the Ace Coordinator for NJ Penguins. Coach Garcia is an Advanced level IV USA Hockey coach and is a certified level 2 USA hockey referee. Tim Shea – Midget U18 Coordinator Midget Head Coach. Tim has been coaching for over 7 years and has earned his Advanced level IV USA Coaching certification. Tim has led Kings teams to much success including a Regional Silver Stick Championship and a trip to the International Finals. Alex Shindelman - Midget U16 Coordinator Midget Head Coach. Alex has an outstanding resume spanning his playing (20+ years) and coaching (8+ years) career. Alex played for the Latvian National team and he is currently on staff at Skylands as a clinic instructor. He is an Advanced level IV USA Hockey Coach. Gary Bartholomew – Bantam Coordinator Bantam Head Coach. Gary has coached at all youth levels, for the past 10 + years. Last season he led his teams to the NJYHL playoff championship. Gary is an Advanced Level IV USA Hockey Coach. Matt Lalonde – Pee Wee Coordinator Matt comes to the Kings with an impressive playing and coaching resume. His playing career includes Prep School, Jr A, and the ECAC at Clarkson University. Matt has coached at all levels from various youth teams / organizations to public and private NJ High Schools. He is a Intermediate Level III USA Hockey Coach. Mark Weaver- Squirt Co-Coordinator Squirt Head Coach. Mark returns to the Kings with 12+ years of youth hockey coaching experience including Tier I / AAA and High School. Mark is an Advanced level IV USA Hockey coach Phil Stevens – Squirt Co-Coordinator Squirt Head Coach. Phil is returning to the Kings for his second year. Phil's playing career included youth hockey for the NJ Rockets, JR's with the Ramapo Rangers and the Canadian Jr Hockey League. Phil is a Intermediate level III USA Hockey Coach.
