Skylands Ice World has a roster of trained and professionally accredited skating coaches providing skaters with top quality instruction.  Most, if not all of our skating professionals are available for private lessons.  Private lessons are booked through the Kim Murphy at 973.697.1600 x 118 or by email SkatingDirector@SkylandsIceWorldNJ.com. Professional experience: Skating Director and Mental Skills Consultant (Royal Glenora Club, Edmonton, Alberta); Sports Development Consultant (Sport Nova Scotia, Halifax, Nova Scotia); Mental Skills Consultant (Canadian Sport Centre Atlantic, Dalhousie University)

Sport Psychology Consulting with developmental and high performance athletes from many different sports including figure skating, hockey, soccer, basketball, tennis, squash, swimming, volleyball, and gymnastic.

Kathleen (Cathe) Baker, Professional Skating Coach

• over 30 years experience teaching figure skating.
• Specialized training from the North American Training Center in Lake Placid, NY and the New Jersey School of Ballet.
• Former Director of Penn State University Summer Skating Camp.
• Students have included USFS Gold Test skaters, competitive Gold Medallists touring members of the Ice Capades and Holiday On Ice.

• Power Skating Coach and teaching instructor for 20 years.  Associated with the "Ralph Evans Ice Skating Schools".  Enjoys teaching all levels of Ice Skating. 
• B.A. Studio Art, University of Vermont.
• Specializing in Power Skating for Hockey Players of all levels/works with Hockey players on developing their skating skills specifically to improve their performance and game.  Many of his skaters paly at the AAA level. 
• Private lessons in Freestyle/Moves in the Field/Power Skating.
• USFSA Double Gold Medalist: Senior Moves in the Field and Adult Gold Freestyle.  Pre-Silver Dances.
